Nancy holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health Sciences. In addition, she holds a Master’s in Oriental Medicine from East West College of Natural Medicine, a Master’s in Education, a Bachelor of Science in Business Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. She is a published author, educator, speaker and licensed massage therapist in Alaska and Florida. She is an NCBTMB National CEU Provider.
She has a lifelong passion for learning. As an undergraduate, she worked for a best-selling author ghost writing articles and assisting with speaking engagements in the U.S., Europe and Africa. During her travels, she became aware of food insecurity and lack of healthy food options that many people face. This led her to teach children's gardening and health and wellness workshops. She is the author of "Kids Grow It "as a companion book to “Moms Cook It,” which focuses on teaching families how to grow and prepare fresh food. She was also a feature writer for The Kansas City Star, Dos Mundos, Kansas City Gardener and Natural Awakenings.
After completing massage therapy, she became a Department Chair/ Director over two University Therapeutic Massage Programs. Her focus has always been teaching people how to facilitate healing for themselves. As a result, she created Inner Wisdom Workshops and Therapies along with related healing products. This was the beginning of the Inner Wisdom Wellness Center founded in September 2011 which offered a full wellness menu.
Nancy implemented and managed the massage therapy program at the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. She also became a student in their Oriental Medicine program. During her studies, she worked for renowned Chinese Doctors who focuses on serious illnesses such as cancer, MS and other autoimmune diseases. She took extra courses to learn Master Tung acupuncture and practiced for three years under the supervision of many excellent doctors in the onsite student medical clinic.
She received her Doctorate in 2020, adventured to Alaska and settled in Oklahoma to practice. She loves working with pain management, overall health and wellness, diet and nutrition and stress and anxiety relief. Dr. Nancy is excited for the new year and a new you!
